Another consolidated food post

Obviously getting lazy...

Brasilana short rib and other things - good but not amazing:

And then went to see this UWS apartment and it was amazing and I loved it and then went out for dinner w Maria to Flor de Mayo which is like, the most random restaurant ever. They serve Cuban, Chinese, and Peruvian food...I Yelped and everyone raved about the lomo saltado so that's what I got:

Stir fried beef, onions, tomatoes, and french fries on top of yellow rice - SO FRICKIN DELICIOUS. If I move here, I'll be getting this for dinner way too often :)

Crif Dogs!

So...still thought I was moving and needed to like, get to my Groupons before they expired...so went out for the Crif Dog dinner. First, there was a gorgeous sunset going on:

Then loads of tater tots and a bacon wrapped hot dog and a beer :) Perfect meal, super super unhealthy

Girl's Reunion Dinner!

NYU reunion dinner at Cask! Met up with the Michelles and Jill for good catch-up meal. Also was super excited because I thought I might be going to Australia for work...

Michelle & Michelle ate normal person amounts of food, but Jill and I decided to split everything that sounded amazing - and it turns out Cask's small plates are actually big plates and you will stuff your self silly. Got truffle mac and cheese (bleh) and delicious mussels with chorizo and a paella (and a jalapeno margarita to top it off):

Then drinks with Curtis at Ginger Man! And still beautiful weather outside! :)

Shack-Cago

Shake Shack lunch...decided to branch out from the burger and try the Chicago style hot dog. Obviously delicious:

Seriously this weekend made me love New York so so much. Perfect weather, perfect activities, everything. Headed to Maria's for lovely brunch - baked cornbread and pigged out on great fruit salad, amazing frittata, lots of dessert and baklava and pasta salad and mimosas :)

Eventually the party moved to Riverside Park :) because it was beautiful outside AGAIN. Seriously, 3 amazing days in a row?

Also today: Frenchie, apartment view, tacos at Tacombi (always a good time) to welcome Curtis back to America, and a delicious blueberry ale with Jakgrid...perfect weekend.

Great weekend continues...

Gym, then immediately out to spend the gorgeous day outside. Met up w Kat and others and wandered SoHo and had lots of random encounters and random funniness in one of those very only in New York ways...like, people playing grand pianos in Union Square and amazing-straight from-New-Orleans jazz bands and awesome artwork everywhere. Yay for beautiful days:

Then headed to midtown to satisfy my ridiculous burger craving at Lillies with Andrew:

Then ran into Jam and JP on the street and had some bubbly drinks on the rooftop, then off to Brooklyn for John's birthday drinks at the beer garden, then back to the city for Fat Baby dancing w/ BAs, Verlaine w/ Chicago people for delicious lychee martinis, and then birthday party at Hotel Chantelle :) Perfect Saturday too!

Friday the 13th

Lots of good eating happened today :)

Everyone decided the beautiful weather meant walk to K-Town for lunch, so got to pick up my favorite jap-chae, although I got yelled at for eating it in a cafeteria and had to go eat in the office :(

Then post work fun! Went to Jeremy's roof to hang, and then massive BA dinner at Blockhead's for Gena's birthday. Love tacos, love rice and beans, love margaritas :)

Then out for Flint's birthday, awesome dancing to Call Me Maybe, great start to the weekend.

Easter Feasting!

Amazing feast at home! Played some tennis w Lissy and then came home to just...endless awesome food. There was prime rib, a delicious ham, salad, brussel sprouts, green beans, roast potatoes, mushroom pie, these awesome cooked tomatoes stuffed with rice and cheese, and then topped off with flan. Seriously - if I lived at home and ate like this, I'd weigh a gajillion pounds but would be oh so happy :)

Other Random Eats

So...unsure when I ate most of these things but...udon lunch one day:

Random food truck competition outside our office giving out free food...had unremarkable schnitzel thing:

 Good catch up dinner with Maria at A+ Thai - I can never get enough pad see ew, the stuff is just so good :)

Country Fried Dinner

Amazing dinner at Shannon's - chicken fried steak, biscuits, mashed potatoes, salad (which thing does not belong), beer, fattiness. Definitely miss the south a lot and need to schedule a trip down there for eating purposes only.
